Empty lot on right where the Hotel Raleigh stood before it burned in 1910. The steeple of the Presbyterian Church was cut off after it caught fire. (Also see 0065A and B

Towns people watching Hotel Raleigh burn from the hitching rai; where now the Library stands. Sparks from the hotel ignited the steeple of the Community Church across the street. The steeple was cut off during the fire to save the church..
