Abstract: First in a series Early oral tradition has it that Jose Francisco Armijo was taken to the land of Suisun Valley as early as 1828 by Cayetano Juarez. Juarez said he had lived near the area since about 1821. The next report of Armijo being in the area is as a merchant in 1835.
