Abstract: My last column talked about the early life of Luzena Stanley Wilson, who grew up in a Quaker family in North Carolina. The information is based on Luzena's memoirs and the research by Fern Henry in her new book "My Checkered Life: Luzena Stanley Wilson in Early California."
